I am an engineer by trade. I live for systems, logic, and precision. But when I built my own family home in Calgary, I was treated like an amateur.

My builder spoke in "Greek" — architectural jargon that meant nothing to me. They handed me 2D flat drawings and expected me to "visualize" a 3D life. I was guessing on the biggest investment of my life.

The result? A "custom" home that was actually a cookie-cutter box. It didn't reflect my family. We were living in someone else’s dream, adjusting our habits to fit their walls.

The "AHA" Moment

My wife is an architect with over a decade of Canadian and international experience. Even between us, the gap was there. She would describe a space, and I couldn't see it. I finally told her: "Stop talking. Show me."

She hesitantly built a 3D model. Suddenly, I didn't just see the floor plan—I felt the room. I started asking better questions. We stopped guessing and started engineering. That was the "Aha" moment. If an engineer and an architect were struggling to communicate, the average homeowner didn't stand a chance.

The Industry is Broken 

I looked around my network and heard the horror stories: A basement build taking 12 months. Contractors forgetting City grants. Homeowners being forced to install a third furnace because their builder "missed the big picture." These aren't just mistakes; they are symptoms of an archaic industry that isolates the customer.

The End of Guesswork

We founded HX6N DZGN HAUZ to end the "Leap of Faith." I combined my wife’s creative architectural design power with my obsession for customer experience and technical precision.

We use AI-photorealistic rendering and 3D modeling as our primary language—not an "add-on." We build "Living Assets" that generate income or provide a sanctuary -  without compromising the client experience. We built our own basement into a high-yield Airbnb that we now love more than the rest of our house. 

Why? Because it was the first time we were in control.
